About Morgan's by Design
Morgan’s by Design is a company dedicated to building fine scale
furniture. We strive to make pieces that replicate their “full-size”
counterparts as closely as possible in every way. No shortcuts; no
sidesteps; no kidding! Only the finest in construction techniques
and materials go into each of our products.
All wood frames duplicate the finest construction methods from
“real” furniture manufacturers as closely as machined wood
tolerances will allow. Exposed wood legs and table finishes often
have fourteen or more steps that feature fine stains and hand
applied, multiple coat lacquer finishes. Hand finished solid
hardwood is the hallmark of fine furniture furnishings and Morgan’s
by Design scale furnishings are no exception!
Even greater care is taken with the upholstered pieces. Only the
finest fabrics from many of the top houses, manufactured
exclusively for the home furnishings industry are used. In fact, all
components from padding to foundation materials and fillers are
chosen only from items produced for the furniture industry. All
components including staples, tacks and tack strip could be found
in the finest custom upholstery shop. An average sofa or chair arm
often has seven or more layers of barrier, foam, padding and face
fabric. This insures not only realism but a treasured keepsake that
will endure for generations.

t build doll furniture or jewelry boxes. We build the finest scale
replicas of full-size furniture available, designed by John Morgan
who has over thirty years experience in all aspects of the home
